Future Transport Systems

    Future Transport Systems

självkörande buss - en del av framtidens transporter?

Our work in future transport systems is about what the future will bring to transport through keeping up-to-date on new innovations, and new research in our field.

We also work actively on several of our own innovations:

    EC2B – Mobility as a Service (MaaS)

Together with partners from Malmö and Copenhagen, Trivector is working on the concept EC2B. EC2B offers Mobility as a Service (MaaS): it bundles different transport services for end-users into a single package, making it easy for them to choose between a variety of alternatives, depending on what is most suited to the needs for their journey. This can include public transport, bike hire, car sharing, etc. Information, booking and payment is done easily and efficiently through a smartphone. EC2B also has a social platform which supports users in choosing more sustainable travel alternatives.

TravelVu – a new way to perform travel surveys

TravelVu collects data for travel surveys using individuals’ mobile phones. By using the technology that is available in today’s smartphones, and advanced software algorithms, TravelVu registers trips and activities between trips.
