Take the bike instead of the subway
Trivector has released a bicycle map that shows how you can take the bike instead of the subway in Stockholm. The map shows suitable cycle routes that largely follow Stockholm’s metro lines.
The digital map is free to use and specially developed for those who usually ride the subway but want to get started cycling to avoid congestion in public transport. The map can be zoomed in and out. You can choose whether you want to see the entire metro network, part of the network, or zoom in so much that you can see in which intersection you should turn.
“We have thought of those who usually orientate themselves along the metro lines and want to find a way to move around the city in a Corona-safe way. This is our way of helping to reduce the spread of infection in society,” says Erik Stigell, researcher and traffic consultant at Trivector Traffic.
