Trivector Traffic becomes employee-owned
Just before Christmas, a group of employees who had been with Trivector Traffic for several years bought Trivector Traffic from the founders. This shift has from the start been part of the founders' vision for the company, which has now been realized. There has been much engagement from employees who have been offered to buy in. We look with great confidence and anticipation to the future.
As before, we will be a freestanding, independent and socially engaged player in the transport and urban planning industry. Research and development that actively contributes to changes in a sustainable direction in practice will also continue to be important to us.
“It’s been a fantastic journey,” says Christer Ljungberg, one of Trivector’s founders. From the start in Lund in 1987 to the gradual and organic growth through the offices in Stockholm and Gothenburg.
“Those of us over feel incredibly happy to be part of the continued development of Trivector Traffic,” says Lena Smidfelt Rosqvist, newly appointed CEO of Trivector Traffic. With all committed and experienced employees, we look forward to at least another 34 successful years.
The founders Christer Ljungberg and Per Gunnar Andersson will remain in Trivector Traffic as senior consultants and advisors, both internally and for external customer projects.
In connection with the purchase, the Trivector Concern has been transformed into the Trivector Group. The processes to change ownership in Trivector’s two other operating companies – Trivector LogiQ and Trivector System – are ongoing and are expected to be completed in the spring of 2022.
